Cloud solution or in-house? The choice is yours!
The core of amily's system solutions is based on a client-server architecture. amily can be operated with different models.
Model 1: On-Premise
You host the SQL and app server yourself in-house and are responsible for security, maintenance, backups, etc. A VPN connection is only set up between you and amily for maintenance purposes (updates, troubleshooting).
Model 2: amily.sky
As a Microsoft CSP - "Cloud Solution Provider / Indirect Reseller" - we can access the complete Microsoft Azure portfolio and the Microsoft online portfolio with the support of our partners.
Our installations are preferably in the Azure Region West Europe (Frankfurt), but can be carried out in any data centre in the EU or Switzerland (Zurich). The servers are operated in your own dedicated area ("own tenant") in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. All maintenance activities (backups, scripts, integrity, security, etc.) are carried out by amily GmbH. Clients access the servers via a site-2-site IPsec VPN connection. Alternatively, the connection is possible via "Point-2-Site".
There is also the option of having amily run the client operation via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). The direct proximity of the clients to the database in the cloud results in high speed, especially for time-consuming tasks, which will inspire your campaign managers.
